I can't wait to see how he handles the top 10 this year - one of secret's videos surpasses anything phill has done in all his years of youtube, and that's truly sad. If i was dsp i would have paid for this dude to edit my shit by now, but here we are.

I don't think that's him, that's another dent.

Phil will enjoy Street Fighter 6, up until he leaves the beginner brackets. His demeanor will change dramatically when he can't stomp on newbies anymore and will get his shit pushed in when challanged by people who know what to do.

When that happens, all of the excuses that are absent now, will suddenly come flooding back. Shit like dropped inputs, lag, pattern players, Capcom having no idea what they are doing, etc..

All his winning toxic traits are still there, just hidding because he can stomp on newbies.

I can't confirm it because I neither know or care to know enough about WWE Champions, but a dude who plays it that goes by TJ Gamebox (or something similar) knows how to extrapolate the average spending on the DownfromtheRafters' Champions account based on how much it increases in power. Basically all detractors vouch for it, but I dunno if any of them knows how it works or if they just nod along.

At this point I am 100% convinced Phil is a closeted gay. When a man and a woman in a game are doing something even remotely intimate he acts like a complete fool. 2 men kissing? Perfectly fine.

Yeah this always happens with new fighting games he plays.
He looks good against the tide of newbies that are still learning except he reached his ceiling long ago and has regressed while all those newbies actually practice and learn. They surpass him and he starts struggling with his ancient Super Turbo Era strats.

When he's talking about SF6 while not playing it he keeps saying its great, but while he's playing it all he does is whine and moan about dropped inputs and damage rates and drive impacts and bad balance.

One of the greatesr things about SF6 is that it lets us know that Phil is full of shit. Every time he goes "WHAT?!" or "what happened", "I was blocking that" we know he lies because the game says "Counter Hit" and "Counter Punish".

Can't get countered if you are blocking.

Players are getting a handle on SF6 and quickly outpacing him and he knows it.

Im pretty sure some of his dents pay him "behind the scenes" to play as certain characters.

Some dents must have written to him that his incessant whining is upsetting them because he was very apologetic about it without actually apologizing on the podcast today. Lots of "you gotta understand my history with street fighter" sentences.

There is nothing wrong with trying characters, but Phil insists playing characters he hates. Now, to be fair, shen he wins he loves all characters he wins with, and when he loses he hates the same characters he previously won with.

Having said that, there is a reason the best players only play 1-3 characters max. You can understand all characters, know their moves and counters. But you can't be good at all of them.

Diablo 4 is one of the worst games to play just for a playthrough. Games like that are all about the endgame grind.
