Like every single thing they talked to him about and said "Here is why fans have a problem" he did again a couple days after the podcast while complaining about them. He distorts every thing they said to him during it and somehow manages to take everything out of context while trying to flip it to make them the bad guys. "OH they never were going to believe me and the fact they talked to detractors proves it." No you fucking idiot. They totally went into it wanting to believe you but your explanations and reasons for things make no fucking sense so of course they don't believe you. And of course they talked to detractors to find out why they have a problem with you. That's the whole point of gathering intel so they know what they are talking about somewhat. I will say the one phone call they played from the detractor was a bit much. If that dude would have just said I don't like X, Y, and Z instead of trying to do bits it might have went over better with Phil. Then complaining about how they let Keemstar on. Dude they flat out asked you if it was cool. And when you gave a non-committal answer they even asked again. That time you said yes. You can't blame them for that. Phil just wants to be miserable. Phil really thought he could just pignosis his way out of every question, but they just saw right through him. The years of being a social hermit have definitely taken a toll on him, and he seems to be incapable of giving a straight answer to anything. Its also funny that he doesnt realize that no one with common sense is ever going to just take him at his word and believe that hes being truthful about, well, anything at all. He lies about everything, sometimes for no fucking reason. Well, he worked very hard and cultivated a huge fanbase over the years, and has tried to get many fighting games out to the forefront of players' attention, especially the MVC2 campaign and even holding some tournaments for other games. I'm not saying it was all Max's doing, as his community and other players helped with things. Also, Max knows he's not a high level player, but I've seen Max play fighting games and he's definitely a good one, as he tried to put in the time to learn to play. Contrast this with DSP, who boasted about getting 4th place in a version of Street Fighter that not a lot of people played.
