yeah... we started in 2100, high speed travel exists in our timeline dude. 40 teams across 40 nations, four divisions per sub league, five teams per division. four wildcards and every playoff series is 7 games. maximum chaos.

it's a baseball management simulator and sandbox game. basically you just act as the GM (or manager but not in our online league) and try to build the best team. it has a very, very good simulation engine. real baseball managers use it for practice in real games. quite a few talked about using it during the covid postponing to stay sharp.

i use to play offline a bunch, just trying to win the world series with each franchise before starting over but that got boring so i made an online league to go up against real people instead of ai.

buddy of mine plays this. he loves it.

i tried something similar for football on board 8 and didnt last a season. im just no good with numbers and that type of dedication, but it's all really fun and compelling stuff.

it is more intensive in the offseason when are you in bidding wars for staff and players.

however during the season we play on low injuries and only sim 3-4 games per day so it is pretty low maintenance. a lot leagues do something like 2 weeks every other day and on normal injury. so if you miss a day you're fucked basically. this is not something i wanna make people do so yea

I've heard good things about it, but I also worry about the investment. I'm already bad about quitting my fantasy teams early.

yeah i think alan and chicken and knicky all play it but they never wanted to join rip.

which football game did you use? i know draft day and front office football but never tried them out.
