I dunno if I would say it's the best, but I really enjoyed it.

Honestly the only problems I have with The Room are story related and level structure. I do not like how you go through all normal levels and then all dark levels. I liked the old style where you do both versions of one level before going onto the next.

Otherwise the game was fantastic.

tbh, it has been so long, I don't remember how the levels went.

I just remember the backtracking, which I didn't mind like some people do.

What do you mean back tracking? You couldn't go back to a level once you finished it.

didn't you revisit areas later in the game, or am I misremembering?

I used to watch their videos all the time and enjoyed them, but they never get recommended on my YouTube feed anymore so I dont watch them (I never actively seek them out)

The new God of War games, plus the The Last of Us games are all fucking boring and overrated.

Resident Evil 7 and Village sucked fucking shit too, first person shooter for RE is a bad idea, and Ethan is a shit character who gets his ass kicked, kidnapped, and glued to the floor with only 'WooOoah dUde shitshitshitfuck" personality and angery dad moments with his stupid non-existent face. I don't want to play a RE game as him, Capcom, where's Jill, Billy, Sheva, Rebecca, Barry, and Carlos?

And if I had a nickel everytime a RE game had some sort of family of villains, I'd have two nickels.

But noooo, people excuse these because of realistic graphics shit.

Mega Man 2 is one of the worst games in the classic series.

Yeah, in the form of one big escort mission, with the antagonist chasing you.
That was the bad part of the game imo. I love everything else about it.

Nobody even knows who Katamari Damacy was made for.

The MMORPG genre needs to be revived. It is the best one.

People are having to resort to playing D&D from the lack of MMORPG options.

Here in 2023, there still hasn't been a platformer better than DKC 2.

Modern Warfare 2 is a shitty multiplayer experience.

Elden Ring: "Dark Souls, but big map" isn't revolutionary.

To follow that, very few games of the last 30 years are revolutionary. Every thing has been done just like how there hasn't been a new story told in centuries. That's completely okay.

Conker's Bad Fur Day's multiplayer > Goldeneye's

There was nothing inherently great about Assassin's Creed that needed 30 games.

Atelier is the best yearly release series, and has been for years.

That is the hottest take I thought 7 and 8 were excellent, rivaling the strongest in the series. It's clear village was heavily inspired by re4, and slug baby in re8 was terrifying

Oracle of Seasons was always better than Ages. Somehow the game that focused more on combat had better puzzles than the game that focused on puzzles. Much better items too. The Power Glove being the final dungeon's item was so boring

Hell yeah. Goldeneye practically didn't exist in our social circle - in the pre-Halo days our two big multiplayers were CBFD and Perfect Dark. We'd get drunk, play Conker's Beach mode (as the villagers), and see if we could actually manage to outwit the snipers on the hardest AI difficulty.

TF2 was a terrible fucking sequel to one of the most unique FPS games

I think it's funny when people critique cinematic games, but they're into Pokemon or some traditional JRPG that doesn't require much player input and/or doesn't have much mechanical depth

outside of his mechanics, Vergil was never cool.

TBFP weren't really that funny, and while it was sad to hear that they wanted to break up for a while, it wasn't a huge loss when they did.
