People are reporting that it may have been a threat, call in, etc. This (thankfully) may be a false alarm but things are fairly hectic right now.

State police said the threat is believed to be a computer generated swatting calls. State Police across the state near Hollidaysburg and Rockview are also reporting the same thing."

Not sure about another region with the fake calls, but I wouldn't doubt it. Yeah, Pitt and CMU both said everything is good to go. Unless something new comes up, definitely seems to be the fake calls. What a time to be alive.

Causing a public freakout over nothing, needs to be severely punished.

I'm about 10 minutes away from what's reporting to be another shooting in the Hopewell Area outside of Pittsburgh. Haven't seen that reported yet, but I had some customer come in saying there's a bunch of ambulances outside the high school.

Don't know if it's more fake calls or not though.

So that area of the city has several universities: University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University and Carlow College. Maybe others actually I forget, in addition to the aforementioned Central Catholic, which is a private catholic high school.

I used to work in that area, but the opposite direction from CCHS. Stay safe, everybody.
