The problem is that a lot of those names are blatant marketing stunts to try to get people online to buy their gear, but they replaced more established names that local fans were attached to. So yes, they all got revenue boosts from people that werent going to their games, but at the expense of alienating the locals that reliably fill the seats otherwise. It was a really annoying 2010s trend to chase money. Note, not all. Mud Hens, IronPigs, Tourists, and some others are old and established names. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Locally we have the Reno Aces, which fits in with the gambling theme of the city and allows them to market what they as Aceball instead of baseball. --- I don't know about urinals. Half the guys are afraid to use them and most who aren't afraid can't hit them ... Copied to Clipboard!
