Just waiting for some official lender quotes today to determine an exact budget. House is 100k above our max price. The question is how much we should push it. If it's the perfect house, our dream house, where we would be for minimum 20 years until kids go to college. Our salaries increase next summer, and we can always refinance when rates r lower. We can make it work but it just hurts our savings for the next 2 years until our salaries go up and until we can refinance. Once those things happen then we're set on cruise control and comfortable. ... Copied to Clipboard!
