They would say the food is greasy, lacking in nutrition, just plain not good, and overpriced.

4 thousand years ago is not that ancient in terms of human history. Civilization is like 6 thousand years old. Yes people cooked then. People were cooking in the stone age. Humans have cooked for thousands of years. Cave men did not eat raw meat.

No. If I opened one 4000 years ago it would have quality comparable to 4000 years ago.

McDonald's in the 70s had much better quality food. The concept of "fast food" hadn't really cemented.

I wonder if the people back then saw a modern fast food building, they would think it was made out of unknown materials from the gods

Mfw I open a McDonald's 4000 years ago and accidentally create a religion around Ronald McDonald.

I look forward to your findings

I'm back. Findings: fries were hit or miss but generally considered underwhelming. Nuggets were considered a good concept but not executed as well as they could have been. Sodas were not well liked. Almost all comments were negative. TC was on point there. I was... almost killed several times over the big mac ._. (too sweet, too much bread, not enough meat). Regular burgers, quarter pounders etc. were received much better, but still mixed. Chicken sandwiches and fillet o fish were mostly the same, as were breakfast items (except anything sweet, which got the same sort of feedback as drinks). The most popular item was the quarter pounder deluxe. People liked it better because of the added veggies.

There was one thing that was universally hated though... the self-order kiosks. The screens really frightened and confused people and every single one was destroyed. I was almost killed MANY more times over those than over the big mac.
