Because I turned that off the first day I got the phone when I took a picture of a tree and the damn thing looked like a painting. Pretty, but not exactly what I was going for. I Googled it and read it also auto-filters scenery and food and all that so I got rid of it. Lower iso = darker image, more light needed, less noise in the picture Higher iso = brighter image, less light needed, more noise in picture Slower shutter speed = brighter image, needs less light, adds motion blur Higher shutter speed = darker image, needs more light, less motion blur Pretty much all you need to know. Don't think the pro setting has f/ stops but if it does just look up the "exposure triangle". So you can actually take some really nice shots I use Lightroom because I'm more familiar with the photo editing than the shooting. Also, I use my work account so that I don't have to pay for it. There are some other good free alternatives though if you just want to play around with stuff --- I don't believe in belts.
