I have to imagine those aerial scenes in IMAX were fucking amazing. Only thing it was missing IMO was a meg Ryan cameo. But I think she might be retired? Hasnt done shit in like a decade.

Meg Ryan aside, the nostalgia was 100% on point. The right music, the right references, using an f14. I imagine the theater cheered multiple times.

I usually hate long released sequels. This was like 100 times better than the original IMO. Top Gun - 6.5/10. Top Gun Maverick: 9.5/10

I would have been down with it winning multiple Oscars.

I saw it in theaters on a double date, and then had sex with a hot girl.

Fun movie. I didnt think Id enjoy it as much as I did. 8/10, if I liked it others will love it since its far from my type of movie
