Reading this because a friend I trust recommended it to me. Wool, the first one was pretty good. It had a lot going for it in that the world was new. I felt the main protagonist had an interesting journey, but her characterization as a hard assed, no nonsense tough woman was a little cliche, albeit not so much back then. The second book, Shift, was interesting in showing how everything came to be. But Im starting Dust, and man this is such a slog. I realize I don't really care what happens from here, and the main character's personality is so flat that I hate the narrative in her chapters. Does it pick back up and conclude in a satisfying way? Or does it suffer the trilogy fate of dying a slow and miserable death? --- I've got the Oscar fever! Hope you've got it too! Pour me some bubbly now it's all you gotta do! ... Copied to Clipboard!
