I think it was after that, but 2010 is roughly the point I lost interest in Bones. For me, that tends to happen when mystery-type shows stray from the better parts of their original premise or traits, and lean harder on the characters' drama. Like with Elementary after the start of its... third or fourth season? It tried to hang on to being a Sherlock Holmes adaptation in true, but even that one became a generic modern "mystery" series that focused on the characters' drama instead of the solving cases; and oh yeah, season-long arcs and antagonists.
