AOC asked him specifically about whether Trump and/or the Trump organization would lie about the value of their assets. Inflating the value of their assets when getting loans and stuff from banks, but then deflating the value of their assets for tax purposes. Michael Cohen said yes, they did do that regularly. This line of questioning began the investigation that was the source of New York AG Letitia James civil lawsuit against Trump, his kids, and the Trump Organization where she wants to bar them from doing business in NY for a period of time, get $250,000,000 in damages, and some other things. When Trump flew to New York and was arrested this week due to the Manhattan DAs felony charges against him, he landed in LaGuardia Airport, which is in Rep.
