Look at Elden Ring.

The open world is why I havent played elden ring since february.

I prefer Fallout over Elden Ring.

Pretty cool game. I can't wait for the dlc.

Depends on what your looking for, nearing the end of elden ring after a 120 hours in I wouldn't place this in my top 5 open world experiences tbh. The first half of the game is well done though I'd agree with that statement if the quality of the game was even throughout.

Anyway, open world games are generally boring because they are lazy and take no creativity in making. The environments are all procedural, and nowadays with games like Elden Ring it proved that you don't even need NPCs or any resemblance of life to sell a game. All you have left is a rehash of a rehashed engine with minor adjustments and it's probably the most artistically lazy medium in the world.

I have to agree, elden rings open world was perfect, that's the only way to describe it. Could have used a few more non hostile towns but meh.

Open world games are the best. All games should be open world. I had enough of that primitive linear game design.

Linear games are ok. i just hate when I get stuck in certain section and can't explore elsewhere and pick up OP equipments or level up. Super duper ultra lame.
