Apprenticeship programs in my area have massive waiting lists and I'm not coordinated enough to be competent at them. There are so many other roadblocks like me having intense driving anxiety. All of my employable skills and strengths mean nothing because I don't have a degree and existing experience in fields where those skills are relevant. I've considered just lying on my resume about having an unassuming associate's degree but I'm terrified of the consequences if it gets discovered.

It feels like I'm trapped. I'm suffering from a lot of emotional issues which I can't treat because I can't afford insurance. I can't afford insurance because I can't find a job. I can't find a job because nowhere in my area offers anything with remotely reasonable hours/pay and benefits. I can't afford to leave my area. What makes it worse is I have no support system at all and I've had to give up on a lot of my "dreams". If I ever get to the point where I manage to find a decent job, somehow afford a small apartment, and so on, it would still be terrible because I'd have to deal with these emotional issues.

I'm unable to enjoy things like friendships, relationships and even intimacy/sex, so there's no real "happy life" to work towards. My best case scenario is living alone in some government-subsidized shoebox while still dealing with all my other issues, all alone.

There's opportunity somewhere out there. You gotta find it. You can do other schooling maybe. I wouldve suggested maybe CDL but if you cant drive well then maybe try something else welding or medical tech?

As for the emotional stuff, I (and CE) am definitely not qualified to advise you how to deal with that >_> I'm sure you can find the path to appropriate support online somewhere

I have a certification in iOS device repair which is now worthless and my Indeed profile has a shitload of well-ranked assessments, but it doesn't really boost visibility or employability.
