It has a facial recognition feature, so if I tell it to associate a face with a name, it will say that person is at the door if they walk up and ring the doorbell.

So it'll say "Jane Doe is at the front door" if Jane Doe rings the doorbell.

Just now, some solicitor rang the door and it said I was at the front door. WTF. He was some dude trying to sell lawn care service and he had a big hat on and a cloth mask covering his face.

Just don't give it permission to automatically open the door when it recognizes "you"

I'm going through the familiar faces and there are about 4 other people it also thought was me... weird

Yeah, it doesn't have that kind of feature. At least not with my setup. The door lock and the doorbell don't interact with each other.

I have an entry in mine named "Ghost Cloud." One night, it was relentlessly insisting that someone was at my door. Turns out there was a cloud in the distance that vaguely resembled a face. Ghost Cloud still visits occasionally.
