Antartica?

I would say the Arctic. Like Svalbard or Greenland

Somewhere inland, plains, away from rivers, obviously outside of the range of tornado or extreme wind events.

I live in one, the Miami Valley. The worst I have to deal with is hail, lightning, and the occasional wind storm or tiny flood. A destructive tornado might come through once a decade or two but pretty rare.
