I went with my friend who is half Polish and got a few dishes and split everything: pierogi, sauerkraut, kielbasa, potato pancake, and pork cabbage roll with tomato sauce.

10/10 would eat again.

That looks good.
Polish food is interesting in that it pulls from all around.

I'm to a brewery tonight that features legit Lao food.
I have my eyes set on their kua mee.

100%? That's rare, if you are in the US.

I dont know, maybe depends on where you live. Around me theres a city with a little Poland so tons of Polish stores. More than 1 Polish Catholic Church (some masses in Polish). So there were a lot of 100% Polish.

Edit, back in my dating days a few of my parents Polish friends wanted me to go out with their sons. They wanted a nice Polish girl. I had no interest. Ended up with my husband who is 50% Polish anyway though.

Oh that's cool. I am 25% Polish, but it had little impact, as my Italian side was much bigger.
There are a lot of Polish names around here, but no dedicated regions.

Yeah, it was pretty damn good. We also split an O.K. Okocim beer. We got one bottle and two glasses. It's the one in the middle:

I liked it a lot. I've had cabbage rolls, kielbasa, potato pancakes, and pierogi before, but not at a Polish restaurant.

No clue. It was one of those places that had a small grocery store (selling import Polish foods and goods) on one side and the restaurant on the other side. I vaguely remember seeing 2-3 people back in the kitchen, but I didn't really look that much.

Funny enough when i was in Poland it was much easier to find an Italian restaurant with pizza or pasta than a traditional polish one.

The beer was so good too. And cheap.

Reminds me of when I was studying in France, I ate a lot of doner kebabs, because they were cheap and everywhere lol. I had a lot of baguette sandwiches with ham and cheese too. Those were awesome since the baguettes were baked fresh every morning.

The beer we got was really good too.

Too much meat, imo, and tbh the plates don't have much color so it's depressing looking. I'm sure it tasted good though. I'm not sure I've had Polish food before.

It tasted amazing. We could pick up to 3 types of pierogis, so we picked sauerkraut and potato, farmers cheese and chive, and potato and bacon.

My friend also bought a small jar of really strong horseradish from the grocery store, because he wanted it for the meal. The horseradish was awesome too.

I'm mostly Polish. Kinda indifferent about it. I love sauerkraut pierogi and potato pancakes, though.
