At a casino for work so I got to play some live poker for a change. I used to play a ton but cant play in the state in which I live so I have been pretty much just playing online. Only played live twice so far this year but trying to get ready for the WSOP so Im trying play live more.

2/5 NL bought in for $1000.

Hand 1: KTo in the small bling. Three limpers and I make it $30. All three call.

K87 rainbow. checks to button who bets $75. I call. All others fold.

Turn 8. Check/check

River J. Check/button bets $100, I call. He shows KJ

Hand 2.

JJ in the BB, a few limpers again and button makes it $30. I 3b to $105 and only he calls.

QT6, two hearts, I bet $110 button calls.

4 spades on turn. I bet $230 he calls.

T clubs river. I check, he jams, I call and he shows 66.

I was very tilted on my hand 2 play so I left. I thought I had a read on the villain in this hand by his betting style and was wrong. Oops. Only one buy in but still annoying.

Havent lost a full buy-in a while. I am a winning player (up a few thousand each of the last few years live and a 15bb/100 winner online at my stakes)

Now Im just chilling, waiting for the gummie to kick in.

Didn't raise enough and you were out of position. The rest is just consequences.

Hand 2 you were out of position and fell into the trap. Could fold river but you had too much equity in so I see the call. It happens see ya next time.

Why did you bet turn how you did? Value? Pot control? No plan?

Value from flush and straight draws and fold equity against weak queens in his range. AQ and KQ and QT are a big part of his range but I thought I turn bet would fold out all other Qs and pocket pairs. Maybe I should have checked. I dont know.

Lots if small chipping up type pots and then AA held against QQ.

If you lost that quickly but the numbers were in your favor, that means you had bad reads and you were too readable too.

oh nice glad you're getting some back.
