Genesis but I did get an SNES later

Neither. I was stuck with an NES and Game Boy until the N64.

I only had the Genesis. I didn't become a multi-console kid until the fifth generation, where I had a PS1 and N64.

I had a Genesis growing up but bought a SNES last year. Now I have both of them as part of my gaming setup.

Like everyone else in the western hemisphere in the early to mid 1990's I was playong on the Mega Drive.

I had both, but I wasn't rich. My parents were split so in one home I had SNES and in the other I had Genesis. Thanks for bringing up terrible life memories, TC

I wasnt allowed a console until I was older.

Played my neighbors nes and cousins snes.

Got a gamegear and then an n64 when that came out.

Bought myself a ps then ps2 then 360(s) then ps4 and vita and the last purchase was a switch.

Had a SNES, got a Genesis a couple of years later. Lower-middle class tho.

Main reason I had a SNES like 2 weeks after it's north america launch is because I got hit by a car as a 7 year old and my dad bought it for me as a get well present. The genesis was my older brother's that was gotten in like, 1992 or something like that.

.....as awesome as it was to have a SNES w/ mario world ahead of every other kid on my block I am not so sure that getting backed over by a car and almost dying was worth it, =/ lol.

SNES, but I had cousins and a neighbor friend that had the Genesis, so I played a lot of both consoles.

I went Genesis because the EA sports games were better on Sega.

Had a Genesis and three Game Gears (one for each kid to use on road trips...my parents probably spent a year's salary on AA batteries lol)

Next console was an N64

Had a Sega Genesis in my household for as long as I remember. When I was like 8 years old, my mom picked up a Super Nintendo from a yard sale. So eventually we had both consoles.

Megadrive, but my friend has SNES so we trades sometime.

Sega genesis sounds and looks much cooler but the snes stomped it with a ton of good games.

Genesis has many more bad games than good but it mad the good games that much better.

Neither. I had an Atari 2600 and NES my aunt gave us, then got GBC and N64, but I skipped/wasn't really aware of the 16 bit gen (I was around 10 when I got the N64).

I Had a SNES, cousin had Sega.

I had a NES that I was given from a garage sale. Then I had a N64 from my cousin who probably bought it for himself at first and then gave to me for Christmas. Then a Gamecube. Sadly I didn't have a brand new console until my 360.

My first console was a Genesis and I didn't even get that til 1998.

Had a SNES, but my dad thought it was too expensive and exchanged it for a Genesis instead. Wish he hadn't tbh. SMW was so much better then Sonic 2. Later, he also bought me a NES with Felix the Cat, and Kirby Adventures.

Had a SNES and a Game Gear for some reason. Don't know why I picked a Game Gear over a Game Boy.

I got the second model SNES after I had the N64 first.

I had both but my Genesis got much more use

I had a SNES first then got a Genesis later. The Genesis didn't get much use though outside of Sonic and Kid Chameleon.
