I understand that if you have a 1440p monitor and a PC that isn't quite powerful enough you will get okay but nowhere near what it could have been performance. My question is does this pertain to reading online or watching a video, will they suffer as well or can they still be powered fully even if the PC isn't quite up to par? --- http://i.imgur.com/plA0Vg9.gif https://media.giphy.com/media/dgK22exekwOLm/giphy.gif ... So as long as I don't have a bunch of tabs open everything from Microsoft documents to YouTube videos will be in 1440p? Does that mean that semi-graphically intense video games are more taxing than any movie ever made? --- http://i.imgur.com/plA0Vg9.gif https://media.giphy.com/media/dgK22exekwOLm/giphy.gif ... So theres your resolution and your frame rate. How good is the picture and how many times per second do we have to draw it. A less powerful computer can still have a higher resolution but needs a lower frame rate. Reading web pages is easy because there isnt nearly as much thinking needed. Video is a bit more because it has to draw a pretty picture but is being told what to draw versus a video game where it has to calculate what to draw too. --- I'll think of a sig later. ...
