I think it's a great city. Very big, with plenty of stuff going on.

I've been plenty of times. Fun stuff to do, easy to get around with public transportation but the city is so dirty. Though that's probably due to just how many people move about there.

It clearly has a lot going on but its ludicrously expensive and theres a number of other capital cities Id rather live in, including the one I do.

I had booked a trip about 4 weeks before The Queen passed away.

Then she died on the day we were due to go. The trip did go ahead.

We did a few touristy things, London Eye, cruise on the Thames and a visit to Kensington Palace. We did get a free day, mum wanted to go to Harrod's but the bus couldn't get parked near to it as there was preparation for the funeral. Mum didn't fancy going on the underground so we didn't get to Harrod's.

The Queen's coffin passed by our hotel. The hotel was alright, decent food.

As for London itself, it was ok, had no issues.

One thing happened to a couple on our bus as we were getting ready to go on the London Eye, her husband was caught with a knife but he was allowed to rejoin us. That was the only eventful thing that happened.

Would I go again, probably not.

Used to live there. Great city! Lots to do if youre going on holiday and many great restaurants.

Things to definitely see include the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey and Greenwich. Definitely take a boat on the Thames at night from either Greenwich to Westminster or vice versa. Many great photo opportunities.

I haven't but it's one of the few places I care to see at some point
