Citi Costco: $2,250.16
We went on a week long road trip, and we mainly used this card for gas, food, and hotels. Didn't think it'd be this much we spent on gas and food over the past month! (plus our normal Costco spendings)

Citi AA: $2,937.55
Bought some American Airlines tickets for a future vacation in July time-frame.

Citi DoubleCash: $5,721.58
We use this card for general use, since it's 2% back on everything. Abnormally high this month because we finally got ~$4,700 billed from the hospital for the birth of our child (which happened almost a year ago).

Oof...

Thats great that you were able to pay all that off though. The amount might seem like a lot but I bet its a huge weight off your shoulders

Had to actually close a no-penalty CD to get some money out of it to pay off all this, actually. That random ~$4,700 bill from the hospital threw us off.

Once everything hits and leaves our bank account, and we get back to normal in the next couple of weeks, might re-open the no-penalty CD again, albeit at a lower amount.

Now just imagine all the interest you'd be paying if you didn't pay those off

Last year I had one statement that was $24,301.77. It contained our honeymoon (Costco travel package), deposit for the rehearsal dinner and welcome event, and the largest deposit on the wedding/reception venue.

It was brutal but I had saved for it and I did get like $755 back in points.

You should really get into the Chase and/or Amex ecosystems for better rewards and perks.

Cards like the Sapphire Preferred or even the precious Venture X pay for themselves.

And I've got about $17,500 left on a 0% card that started out around $23,000 - literally all of it is medical bills related to the conception, birth, and death of our daughter (uninsured fertility treatments just to get pregnant with her, then all the hospital bills from her stillbirth)

It is going to feel *so* good to pay that fucker off. 0% expires soon but I have a couple of Citi cards with like $60k limit between the two of them and they always have a 0% balance transfer offer I can use :D

Also have a Chase Sapphire Preferred that my wife and I use for every purchase and pay in full each month. Hoping to use the travel points to knock out a significant chunk of our expenses for a big family trip next summer.
