I feel like the 3D remakes can be a bit of a bit and miss, especially the models. let's go Eevee and Pikachu were okay. But I can't say the same about Diamond and Platinum

Honestly, Octopath Traveler 2.5D style is gonna work wonderfully for Pokemon. 3D backgrounds but 2D models (extra points for nostalgia with the original artwork) looks beautiful. At least for the first 5 generations maybe.

I'd also love to see Chrono Trigger remade in this style.

It's pretty, but it doesn't look like pokeymans. I see that and I want something more fantasy than pokemon and pokecenters and pokeballs. And yeah, the colors work for that town in particular, but it should be more colorful than most of Octopath's settings otherwise. I'd have to see a battle and some other environments to get on board.

Holy shit this is beautiful, why can't gamefreak put out soul like they used to? They really need to try their hand at this style.
