In Beast Wars they mention cybertronian society went under an upgrade that allowed them to transform into organic forms and after doing so took on the names Maximals/Predacons. This concept is then further explored in Beast Machines and is more or less the focus of that series. Anyway I'm insanely hyped for this movie.
