I remember the main villain was named President Snow. An old man. This has a young man named Snow. I think this is trying to be like the Star Wars prequels. This will probably show how Snow turned evil and became President

Yes, his character is (or becomes) President Snow and it's set 64 years before the first movie. He's the mentor to Zegler's character, who is a tribute.

Eh, I'll give it a watch. My wife really liked these movies when they came out and I kinda shrugged them off at the time

When I got Covid this February I watched them and was surprised at how good they were.

It looks like the games have already still been going for a while, even back then. When I first started the trailer, I thought it would he about the First Hunger Games. I guess that would be an even further back prequel
