I retired at 34 (7 years ago), on $100,000 a year and it's been enough. You just have to give up on some luxuries, for exampleI only go on holiday three times a year, rather than four like when I worked.

I mean... if your retiring on 120k/y I want to say that Nevada has much more affordable housing, and with the money you save, you can just buy a plane ticket now and then to go to California, or just drive.
