i know im the only person on CE who seems to care about this show but i felt like this was a step up from last weeks episode
the season 2 premier left me a bit disappointed cause season 1 ended on multiple cliffhangers and episode 1 of season 2 didnt resolve any of them
tabitha and victor were still underground, boyd was still in an enclosed space and the bus people still had no idea what they just walked into

the episodes when the monsters finally have someone to kill are the better ones and this gave them plenty of victims to hunt down
but this show has got to start killing off characters
way to many still alive so its too many plot points to really develop

I'm halfway through season one. I still don't know if I like it or not lol. I'll reply when I'm all caught up.

so many weird things--what's the wormy shit the dude was infected with? The creatures live underground and don't have eyes--are they mole people? What was up with the music box? Also, the that black kid on the bus recognized the town--how is that possible?

i feel like the showrunners don't have satisfying answers so they just keep writing in the hopes a better answer comes to them lol

same creators

the show LOVES the pronoun game

*absolutely no follow up to that*

like literally what was martins purpose besides 5 minutes of expository dialogue with no real direction to it. Even more concerning is that they couldn't even write boyd to PRETEND to care about what he was just told lol

not as bad as last episode with tabitha who was in a den of sleeping monsters and got told several times she had to be quite yet would not shut up
victor had some bad moments like that in the cave to

and this episode they got to victors little hide away and he says they can hide out there till morning but they had to be quite since there was no talismon to protect them from the monsters
so the two start stomping around and chatting pretty much screaming "victims are in here come kill us"

i liked julies little breakdown when she heard screaming from the pile of rubble her dad was under and thought it was him being killed
it made the people on the bus finally realize just how serious the situation was

fatimas similar breakdown this episode i didnt care for though. felt less earned since she was having the meltdown over a dude she didnt know and kept trying to open the door which would have gotten her and ellis killed which she knows

but overall i love fatima. her saving ellis from the monsters last season was one of my favorite moments

i wonder if the couple that took shelter in the bar is alright
i mean last we saw of them was them about to answer the door because someone was knocking and claiming to be from the bus

but there are a few misdirects there that make me think they lived
for one the creatures cant come in a closed building with a talismon so they need to trick people into letting them in. but the guy had locked the door so if this was a genuine person they would have had to knock and ask to be let in.

and well the deaths themselves are always off screen simply because torturing people to death isnt something a tv show is gonna show we do always see the start of the attack before it cuts away to something else
here we see him open the door but we dont see who he was letting in

i'm pretty sure those were monsters he was opening the door for since it cut away, they are capable of convincing people to do stuff like the one that was working that guy that got colony house fucked over in S1.

I wanted Fatima to die because god her breakdown was soooo annoying, someone who knows the risks as well as her shouldn't be doing that silly shit and I know the showrunners didn't have the courage to kill her off so it felt like dragging out the inevitable lol. and yeah Tabitha was equally annoying, if they're trying to make me hate all the main female characters besides Donna and Kristi they are doing a good job at it lol

no need to hate fatima
this was one bad moment
she was great in season 1

i dont hate anyone but people do such stupid stuff like boyd not listening to a word the old guy trying to warn him away said.

lol rewatching the episode now and the Martin part is pissing me off because he says "they" twice in like 30 seconds as refuses to elaborate
