Deadpool can only win if he has prep time otherwise Wolverine would win in a straight fight. Neither can kill the other though.

So no powers

Wolverine wins this. Deadpool dies of his cancer at the start of the fight

Edit - I voted for Jubilee. Wolverine is over 120 years old now. She clearly wins by just existing

Deadpool wins then. He can break the 4th Wall and make fun of Wolverine having no legs because he's so short, thus making him not able to stand.

Isnt Wolverine only able to survive having a skeleton encased in adamantium because of his Healing Factor anyway?

Seems like they would both die pretty fast without powers.

Feels like comments lean towards Wolverine (my pick) whereas votes say Deadpool.
Wolverine is just such a fighter, especially when he's all in rage mode.
Deadpool is a great opponent though.

Wut no, it's the opposite.
Heck, DP's healing factor was based on Wolvie's.

Logan is tougher but DP is faster. That's why I say it all depends on which Wolvie DP is fighting.

The adamantium inside of Wolverine prevents his healing power from being at 100%. When it's gone, and he's just Bone-Wolverine, he heals much quicker than Deadpool

Wolverine's first appearance is that he's torn apart by The Hulk and survives.
There's also some comics where he's revived from a single drop of blood.

Wolverine's whole gimmick is to job long enough to establish an opponent as a threat, only for him (or his team) to take it in the end. So "winning" between the two depends if you mean a short-term single fight or long-term to the death.

Things like Wolverine regenerating from his skeleton or a drop of blood are mostly one offs and extreme outliers and not really consistent with how his healing factor is portrayed.

Deadpool's healing factor is generally stronger - to the point where someone was able to gather a bunch of parts he had lost at one point, enough to slap them all together and grow another Deadpool. Can't do that with Sniktbub.

Isn't Deadpool functionally immortal? I know Wolverine has had some crazy feats of healing but it's not really consistent like it is with Deadpool. I think when it's stated that Deadpool's healing factor is imperfect compared to Wolverine, it's more the fact that it A) made him insane and B) doesn't heal him fully. Wolverine looks normal after healing, whereas under Deadpools costume he looks like a guy who has continually suffered catastrophic injuries and just keeps patching himself back together.

In terms of the actual healing I think it's always been stated that it's far more powerful, but the trade-offs make it overall worse.

As far as ability I'm pretty sure Wolverine would win. At the end of the day they're both just really good fighters who can heal and Wolverine, by virtue of being over 100 years old, is one of the best fighters in the Marvel universe.
