I was bracing for the worst, for some really dark uncomfortable shit, not a literal nothing. And huh, that's not a bad comparison, pretty apt. When watching the movie I remember thinking that this merely ok movie could have been a really great video game, or better yet a TV show, but hadn't thought of Avatar but now it fits pretty well!
