I bought a car from them years ago and go to them all the time for my mileage services. They do a good job, but it's not cheap. Worst part is, it takes forever.

Obviously they're making money from me. I don't do the standard tire rotations, topping off fluids, and oil change. They convince me to to all the other shit that I never thought about before.

They give discounts when I ask, but I feel like they take longer to spite me. 60k service for nearly a grand, and they said 4 hours. Usually it takes 3-3.5 hours, which I think is still unbearably long.

Ive kept with the dealer maintenance schedule but the moment that thing is out of warranty im going elsewhere

Lol no. Car warranties are scams and I sure as hell am never going to get it serviced by a dealer on my own money

I have a 3 year/36k mile service plan with my dealership, and Im just now at 2 years.

I can do most of the required maintenance myself but would rather take it to a shop for the 30/60/90/120k major maintenance intervals

Only under warranty. I find a good shop when that ends.

Once a year though I'll take it in to the dealer for an oil change and an inspection (and "free" car wash). Just for a second opinion on things.
