Its been years since I've seen this lovely mini series that has haunted my childhood but I remember watching it on television when it first premiered and it has been one of my favorite "Stephen King" movies.(I don't think he wrote the book but it says Stephen King in the title so lol...) but watching the beginning and knowing what I know, I'm actually at my favorite part. The scary stuff later was so terrifying to me but I love exposition to death. Some of it has not aged well....like I just finished the first part and I have to say that the rocks falling on the house didn't seem to look so poorly done back in the day but now it feels like its not even part of the movie lol. I think the scariest part of the first part had to be the 'obviously dead' servant answering the door for the reporter. Her eyes creep me out and I know she's dead so I'm just pointing at my t.v. and going "No, don't do it dude!" ... Copied to Clipboard!
