So, in KOTOR 2, if you chose for Revan to be evil and male, Bastila mentions that Revan left(to combat the True Sith) and had yet to return. In her musings, she makes it pretty evident in how much she cares for him, despite clearly being steered towards the dark side of the force.

In that same message, she mentions how Revan had been gone for a long time, and thus the Sith during said power vacuum began to fight. However, she also mentions how she wishes to have no part in whoever becomes the new number 1, despite her pretty much being Revan's number 2. She would only follow Revan.

I know this is before the Rule of Two and all that, but doesn't this contribute to the idea that not all Sith or all Dark Side users specifically have a desire for infinite power and to rule over others? Doesn't this kinda point to the idea that the Sith aren't necessarily meant to kill each other in the end?

Like, the rule of two seems more or less to work towards leading to weaker Sith lords, rather than stronger ones. Especially given the strength of the other Sith from before Palpatine.

Also Revan and Bastila OTP.

Rule of 2 makes stronger sith, bastila is an outlier she wasnt a sith. Real siths do lust for power and are filled with ambition.

The reason why the rule of 2 exists because a group of students would kill their master meaning the strongest sith didnt necessarily survive causing the sith to weaken over time. Bane himself wishes to be as strong as the sith that came before his and the brotherhood of darknesss time.

Hell if you want to be real Palptine didnt beat plagiues in a duel, he cheated the rule of 2 and its purpose as well. Bane made it clear the master and student had to duel to the death while both were still able to go 100%.

Further Bane learns of the rule of 2 from a holocron of revans. While Bane was the one to implement it. It was Revans idea.

I didn't know that last bit, but it makes sense. Kreia never felt Revan was actually someone who fell. Rather, he gave himself to the dark side to create a stronger republic in order to combat an even greater threat(the true Sith). So Revan essentially creating a set of rules that would make the Sith self destruct(as we see happen with Vader and Sidious...until episode 9) makes total sense.

That being said, would it be safe to say Bastila and Revan weren't truly Sith? What would they be considered? Both, obviously, must have been fluent in the dark side. Bastila mentions how she's seen others die due to the Star Forge whereas she was perfectly fine. And Revan, as we covered, took on his responsibilities as a necessary evil...would they be considered a Sith or no?

I dont really have an answer for you because of the old republics existence. They added a lot to Revan that I just havent seen. From what I do know Revan and Bastila do have atleast 1 descendant Satele Shan who is grandmaster of the Jedi Order during the events of the Old Republic.

I just dont like mmos so feels bad man.
