IIRC the midair fight at the beginning of Moonraker in the late 70's was actually shot in midair and it took like ninety something jumps to get enough useable footage. Like thats insane, and this was the 70's. In 2023, if it isn't an MI Tom Cruise movie, thatd be done with wires, fans and green screen. --- 'We're not gonna make it, are we? People i mean.' I'm just looking at old Star Trek stuff and am like man, remember when they had to actually build physical models of the ships? Now that's all computer generated. Want to see the original Enterprise up close and personal? You can. It's on display at the Smithsonian. Want to see the 'Strange New Worlds' Enterprise? Sorry, it doesn't actually exist.
