I've been low carb for like 2 months and sometimes the workouts have been tough. But yesterday I cheated and had like 3 slices of pizza for dinner lol. But when I worked out today, I fucking blasted through that shit so easily. It was kinda surprising.

But I'm gonna go back to low carbs since I'm losing weight at a good clip >_> Still it was kinda funny to witness how much carbs can help out with energy.

Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy without having to go into the reserves.

I mean, if you are doing keto the right way, you will get constant energy. Carbs are like an energy spike, but its only temporary, and lets say, if you ate the entire pizza instead of just three slices, you would have been like, in a food coma instead of really feeling energized by it. Still, there are benefits to spikes if you use up what you are eating. There is a reason why a lot of bodybuilders use candy during their workouts even though it might seem conterproductive.

I'm not doing straight keto, I'm just limiting my carbs. I've just been cutting out pasta, potatos, rice, etc.

I've heard of carb cycling, but my work schedule is hectic so I can't always do cardio >_>
