Was looking to buy a few games digitally, and theyre all still $60-$70

Jesus, if you want to play the Switch as a handheld, I guess you have to pay the Nintendo tax, almost as bad as Apple

They very rarely discount first-party games.

Your best bet if you have NSO is to check if any of the games you want to buy are available to purchase with their discounted vouchers.

Welcome to 2001-2023

They never discount games on their shop. With a few exceptions, retailers only discount Nintendo games if there are more popular sequels in the same series on the same system. Even then if Nintendo was able to underproduce it enough like they try to do, they might keep the value
