A few weeks back at work, I went to leave after my shift and someone had been in my car. They had dug through everything I had in it(nothing important though). Plus, it looked like they tossed in some of their own garbage to boot. Like, there was a used toothbrush and empty bottles and candy wrappers that weren't mine.

Idk, I guess they hung out in it for a while or just dumped their unwanted items after digging around and finding nothing.

Never had actual damage though.

Dent on my front bumper in a parking lot. I was parked far away from the store entrance, so it felt deliberate. I know how pickup truck warriors like to park far away too so my little sedan probably insulted them.

My least favorite part of living in a city is other people parallel parking though. Your car will, factually, be hit front/back and side view mirrors before long if you park street side.

I came back and found it had been broken into. All they took was a pack of smokes that had like 5 cigs left in it. And they were menthols.

I was working outside security for a high school prom and one of the students straight up backed into my vehicle and started to drive off. There was no free parking outside the one area I was able to park in. Luckily my car wasn't damaged.

I've nearly hit another car that parked across the only entrance to a school parking lot (it wasn't that big, only able to fit about 15 cars), quite the dick move on their part.

I think I'd rather have a dent or scratch lol. That's slightly creepy.

I've experienced this tons of times.

When I was on community college for a very long time there was a certain place I liked to park in the parking structure but I had to stop and start parking somewhere else because on more than a handful of occasions whenever I'd park there I'd come back and I'd have a flat tire. Whenever I'd get it fixed the technician always pulled a nail from the tire. Apparently I earned an enemy or something cause some asshole kept on dropping nails near my tires.

Another time, unrelated to school, I parked at a friend's place while hanging out and by the time I came out someone had pried up my hood ornament.

I also didn't do a good job of taking care of my first car. It was a beat it up piece of crap, and one night after parking it in front of my apartment someone took the initiative to break the side mirror off it and leave it on the hood for me to discover right before I had to go to work.

One time I was at a friend's party, and late into the night we returned to the car only to find almost all the cars on the street with broken windows. I guess someone was angry and lashing out as they walked along.

Yep. Always hit and run. One yellow car left a mark. Most of my dent marks are on the passenger side. I park in the middle too. I get that some spaces are narrow, but come on.. gotta be careful opening doors now.

Yeah, back in high school while waiting for a friend to finish up so we could carpool, I was just by the entrance so I could see most of the parking lot and my car. We had assigned parking spots back then and I saw some dumbass had parked their pickup truck right in front of me and reversed in, even though they 100% did not having a parking pass to park there.

while sitting there, I saw this dumbass literally back into my car(despite, once again, having reversed into their spot so there was no reason to do that) and then tried to speed off. I ran after them on foot to get their license plate (luckily there was traffic on their exit since school just ended for the day) and filed a police report. Nothing ever happened and I never saw their car in the parking lot again

When I was in highschool I forgot to lock the passenger door so someone went through the my car and stole the head unit and rummaged through my glove box. But never notice any door dings or damage. For a town with a very low crime rate, that one incident taught me to make sure all my doors are locked even in a relatively safe area. In the grand scheme of things, the head unit was not worth shit, but super annoying to not have a functioning radio for a few weeks.
