I've decided long ago once I get old enough that this do starts to deteriorate I'll go bald rather than be like all those old guys desperately holding on.

Im in my early 40s and still have a thick head of hair, so Im probably in the clear until Im much older.

But I did start going gray during the pandemic. And Im just going to roll with it. Dont see the point in dying it.

i started losing it at like 20. it resulted in a lot of over-compensating in other areas and so i ended up having a pretty great dating/sex life between 22 and 28 >_> blessing in disguise i guess

i checked my finasteride supply today and found out I have a years worth right now lol. been auto buying a container of 90 every 3 months but i keep forgetting to take them everyday. pretty sure i went almost a week without taking a pill at one point. the earliest container expires on sept 2023 so i should take that everyday from now on just so im not wasting money

.that said i haven't actually been losing my hair despite infrequent use so im thinking i wasnt even going bald. i was just soo drunk all the time 2 1/2 years ago (this is roughly when i started using fin) and started getting paranoid about aging. i thought i looked like a ghoul one day when staring at the mirror and started seeing imperfections that were probably always there idk

I shave my head now after years of clinging to some scraps and Im much happier for it.

You might end up like two of the impractical jokers, Joe's hair looks like a bone forest and Murray's hair is holding on for dear life. I only say this because a rerun came on earlier like from 2014 or something, I have no idea what they look like now or if the show is even running anymore

Eh, I wont really care.

But the family genes for me indicate that Ill go from no white hair to nothing but white hair in the span of a half year, so thatll probably happen in the next decade.

I hope I end up like both of my Grandparents that both passed away with full locks of hair by +90 years old. Though my mom is balding at the age of 65, so who knows. If I do bald, I'm clinging as much as I can until I can't hid it anymore.

if i start going bald i'll just take finasteride.

Get some of that spray that hides the thinning areas.

Hoping the powdered wig comes back into style by then.

Going bald sounds like more effort than I'm willing to put into my receding hairline.

Well my genetics tell me that I won't be going bald. But if I did, I'd shave and go bald + beard.

This. It's exactly why I just wear a hat outside. I'm too lazy to do regular maintenance on my hair. I'd certainly prefer it if it just stopped growing entirely, but life isn't that convenient.

I don't think I'm gonna go bald given my hair shows no sign of thinning at age 30 but if you go by the "mom's father" rule I have no idea because my mom's father died at a young age from a motorcycle accident.

Will never happen to me, not something I need to worry about

Shit... I have a forehead the size of Texas. I went bald in my mid 20s.

Interestingly enough.. I'm an average looking guy (at best) who rarely got a second look and rarely got hit on. But when I shaved my head, women would randomly come up and glide their hands across my head which always led to conversations and sometimes even better things.

Edit: The forehead part - always had a huge forehead... not due to hair receding.

Hair still going strong, but yes, would go full shaved if my follicles started to fail me.

I doubt that my hair will ever go. It hasnt on any of the men in my family.

If it did Id probably just shave it all off though.

it's actually impossible to make bald topics without 'desperate' or 'muscle', maybe 'female' as well. just try it.

Currently I'm ignoring it. I'm in denial.
