We seriously need to stop suggesting people who are so old that they cannot understand OUR lives. That guy is also wildly out of touch and has made let them eat cake like statements. Absolutely. Fucking. Not. This is his statement about how we should just deal with the gas and grocery prices. You know, because weve all got as much money as he does Americans: We can endure higher prices for food and gas if it means putting the screws to Putin. Consider it a patriotic donation in the fight for freedom over tyranny, Takei stated in his best Let them eat cake! voice. So, yeah. We dont need somebody like that in charge telling the poor to deal with it. We cannot play identity politics. We cannot afford to.
