Biggest concert I've ever been to was a Reba show way back in the day when I was a kid.

As an adult though I prefer smaller shows. Nothing is worse than getting shitty tickets to a huge act and watching them like ants on the stage.

Taylor swift came to my super tiny town for our 4th of july festival before she was famous so that's cool in hindsight.

Also went to X-fest in Dayton when they had a bunch of big rock bands. That's literally the only concert I've ever been to.

Paul McCartney, Rush, Black Sabbath, and I think Rush again, are the only major concerts I particularly remember.

I saw Taylor Swift on her Reputation tour in a big stadium. Was awesome but the uber surge after was like $400 to get to my hotel 10 miles away lol.

Google says 2007. I honestly thought it was earlier than that. She already had an album out by then.

As a spectator, definitely the concert. Never enjoyed watching sports.

I've been to a few like stadium-level concerts. Honestly I didn't really enjoy it as much as at smaller venues when its much easier to be a part of the whole crowd. Being separated into seats and such just doesn't really have the same feeling to me.

Though that's still different from a really big artist. Though one of them was a band in the middle of really breaking out filling an arena mostly because they're pretty local. And that was a pretty fun experience.

Been on the front rail, in the middle, and in the far back at a bunch of 40-80k festivals. Generally prefer to be on the front rail for the acts I enjoy, which is relatively easy to do. Made eye contact with artists, head nods, setlists, picks, etc. Prefer to be in the middle for acts I don't know that well, to feed off the energy of the those around me who do know the music well. Also enjoy smaller acts in smaller venues, but that's not what this thread is about.

I've seen hundreds of acts, but the bigger ones would include Rush, Gorillaz x2, Radiohead, The Police, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Jack White x2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul McCartney, The Who x2, Muse x2, Snoop Dog, Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Roger Waters x3, Nick Mason, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan x2, Neil Young x2, Kendrick Lamar, Questlove (DJ set), Post Malone (side stage early in the day in 2016 before he got huge), The Zombies, Metallica, Lana del Rey, Cypress Hill, The Killers, Eminem, Queens of the Stone Age x2, Elton John, Paul Simon, James Taylor x2, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sarah McLachlan, Jack Johnson, Alanis Morissette, etc etc etc.

Going to a festival in July mainly to be front row for Weezer, Foo Fighters, and The Smile, plus gonna see Shania Twain, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Pitbull, Ludacris, etc etc etc.
