I've had it for a while now. When I had a tree removed in the back yard this was in the hole.

It's flat on one end and tapered on the other, but not sharp. Maybe it's just a rock idk but if it's manmade I need to know the name of it

It's a Mesopotamian fertility stone. Notice how the stone is shaped like the tip of a phallus. The rest of the phallus is likely still buried in your yard.

I googled stone bell and saw a couple kind of similar. They called it a bell pestle.

I dunno I'll let that slow artifact forum tell me something. I see people on there trying to get worse stuff than this ID'd lol

Depends where you live. Might be a hammerstone, might be a pestle. Doesn't look like an axe. Not particularly rare.

Selling artifacts is kind of a dick move, but I can't stop you. Look to see where the nearest source of basalt is to you, if it's very far away it's more likely to be a pestle and trade good.
