I got here at 9:32, it is now 10:48, Im 2 spots away from the window, but I wouldve left long ago except the way Checkers has their drive thru set up I cant just pull out and leave. I also cant back up and leave because there are multiple other cars behind me.

All I wanted was a spicy chicken sandwich :(

This happened to me at a KFC once. I now avoid drive-thrus where you can't just leave.

They are turning people away from the walk up window saying its closed. Im at the window now. I paid and after I paid they let me know, they are somehow, completely out of drinks. They have no beverages at all.

Im now waiting for a woman that I can see with my own two eyes to cook my chicken sandwich. I can also see why this is so backed up. She is using only one fryer as she is dropping the oil from the other one. She also is only using one basket so she has to make everything separately. Very inefficient.

Anddude just opened the window to let me know, they also dont have any fries.

I asked for my money back and he shut the window to go talk to a manager.

Sounds like either management or corporate screwed up bad.

I've never had a pleasant experience at Checkers. The employees are always pissed off. It takes like twenty minutes to get any food. It's always greasy as hell. Not worth it.

What did the US do wrong thats caused this? Because in Australia Im getting served just as quickly as I always have

Or is this issue specific to this Checkers place? (Which I believe we dont have in Australia.)

I had a similar experience at a checkers yesterday. Got there at 7:02 they didn't take my order until 730 despite there only being 2 cars in front of me.

They did have everything I ordered though. Was there about 45 minutes total.

I would call the restaurant and the cops

say you wanna press charges for them kidnapping you and holding you hostage indefinitely for some just ok burgers

This isn't a US or even checkers/rallys specific. I've never had this issue before.... BUT... If they are out of fries I'm bouncing. Rallys fries are fucking amazing.

Thats ridiculous. Part of the reason I wont ever work fast food again: theyre criminally short staffed and the customers pour in nonstop. Then you routinely run out of food because of the volume of customers and the size of the orders. Then the customers get irate when told that the locusts ate everything.

I remember working at Burger King and running out of burgers many times. People would order SO MUCH FOOD. The workers are exhausted and harassed and mistakes happen. It sucks when youre the customer, but its part of why I only go to chic Fil a.
