What a fucking idiot. I understand the severity of the issue we're facing here and how poorly it's been handled, but acting like that helps nobody.

Especially since AOC hasn't really opened up migrants in her congressional district, nor the local city council districts in Queens. The most open have been in Brooklyn and Staten Island and Adams was just bitching last week how more aren't opening up and need to.

This is something that is squarely on Adams and Hochul. Though, eventually it's an issue that the Biden admin has to deal with.

Because they're hamstrung by the divided Congress and somewhat House.

Though this is something he can push his weight on. Nonetheless, he has basically ignored Adams, Hochul and even AOC so far.

Whenever this shit happens, it's always sus. There are groups that are paid to disrupt her meetings/town hall. They make noise and then it gets reported on right wing news sites to try to make it into a bigger issue than it is and to change the perception that she's a well liked politician in her district.

Usually I'd be like "that sounds insane" but since AOC is basically national level and irrationally hated by the right, then yeah, I would not be surprised it was fake.
