Dukat had maybe like, five different instances where he could've pivoted into a redemption arc. But each time he doubles down and becomes even more evil than he was before, lol. Actually kind of interesting to see that downward spiral over the course of the series, though he definitely got a little too silly after that stint with Sisko on that one planet. Kai Winn was always a radical fundie bitch though. Have no idea how anyone could've seen her as anything other than awful. Most of the criticism of Deep Space Nine I've seen seems to boil down to "It ripped off Babylon 5! And Babylon 5 is better!" but Babylon 5 isn't a Star Trek series and we're asking which is the best Star Trek series not the best sci-fi series.
