This topic isn't just about the actual big 3 anime, but the fans as well, which is why I didn't felt comfortable putting it in the anime and Manga board.

I was always under the impression that every understood these were the big three who followed in DB footsteps?

I am sure if you guys have followed any anime or manga group on Facebook they are having these arguments.

Bleach is never a big 3, never will

I only recognize that DBZ one.

Bleach is never a big 3, never will

It was always part of the Big Three. It fell off hard, sure, but that was part of history.

For me personally, what comes to mind first is:

DBZ
Pokemon
Yu-Gi-Oh!

(possibly Death Note, though probably not enough seasons to qualify)

Naruto has never appealed to me. A friend showed me One Piece and I thought it was surprisingly good, I can see how he got so invested in it.

The Big three was like a band, not the current top anime. Also, if it was current, AoT wouldn't be in it right?

Idk, I'm just speaking on the stuff I tolerated or somewhat liked. Chainsaw Man could be the third one, but I haven't kept up with it after the first episode.

The big 3 represents the most popular action(Shonen) anime of that era for weebs. Depending on your age DBZ was one of the 3, but since it creation the picture TC posted is the most accurate representation. If it were current, it would be Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia,.....That time I reincarnated as a Slime

It is just one of those things where everyone had nostalgia for in the past

"Big 3" was just a marketing term for Shonen Jump US at the early 2000s, and it was Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach.

There is no actual Big 3 because the list is ever changing, especially when Bleach fall from the list quickly.
