I love these topics as it'll always bring in the people who "cooks" their own food into the argument.

Money is no object so I dont mind paying high prices as long as the food portion is sizable, I like having leftovers for tomorrow now that I'm doing one meal a day

Wendy's can be pretty cheap at least.

The biggie bags and some of the app deals can get a filling cheap meal.

in a pinch and if need food at the time i agree. when beef is on sale can make a meal for under 3.50$ with other ingredients on hand.

in fact i might pick up some hamburger to make super burrito's again.

With fast food, it's not just about the price but also time.

You're paying for that $5 burger because you can be in and out in 15 min on the way home from work (or for lunch), so you don't have to spend time cooking at home.

Is it the healthiest or the most economical option? Certainly not.
But it's what many people do to "buy" time.

It's like people know this and yet they act like they dunno this. Kinda funny.

Burger King used to be the best. Now I don't think so. Wendy's has the best value in my opinion, 4 for 4 is a great deal.

Yeah, you're really only going to eat there for the convenience of time. It's not "affordable" anymore.

They used to be both cheap and fast. Now they're just fast, and not even consistently so. Some places can take ages to get you your food.

We don't even have the 4 for 4 here. It's 4 for 7. The biggie bag is like $8 =/

Not only is it expensive, the quality, and the risk of getting sick is there too. It's just not worth it anymore.

Food prices for home meals have risen even faster than restaurant prices most months, so eating home is not exactly cheaper. I just think more people here notice fast food increases

I was getting 2, 8 piece fried chicken packs at Kroger for $10 just a few months back.

No idea wtf these FF joints are smoking with their current prices.

Yeah almost all of fast food has like more than doubled in the past 10 years, which is pretty crazy.

The only good value still around is BK's Dollar Menu.
