Jupiter 06/01/23 11:27:12 AM #4:	Usually when someone cuts me off or attempts to merge into me, it always occurs to me like 2 or 3 seconds after the fact that I should have honked. But also, this is Memphis. Apparently a guy got killed last week or the week before simply for honking at 2 idiot drivers that were racing on the interstate or something. I got a ticket when I honked at a person 3 times because they didn't go on a protected green light. Instead of the police officer going after the guy in front of me, who clearly was on texting on his cellphone, he went after me for honking and I got a ticket for $237.86 for it. You're only allowed to honk to avoid a car accident, anything else is "disturbing the peace". I've been to some places though we're they drive by leaning on the horn. When you honk, every motorist around you hears it, which can cause surprise, confusion, or even anger if people think you're trying to criticize them for something they did. It was also a light where you could only make a left turn when the arrow is green. So waiting for this fuck to move over to the lane on the right just stopped the rest of us from making our turn.
