Game seems cool. A lot of positives seem to be characters, acting and the story though.
When it comes time to talk actual gameplay, I mostly hear about terrible combat, a sewer level so unfun it has a built-in skip and how the last area really drops the ball. And that's after you've wrestled with it and made it playable.

It looks cool but I'm really starting to think finding a comfy longplay or LP could painlessly show me everything worth seeing.

I'm not sure you'd get the full effect from the hotel in a LP.

Also arguing with a stop sign is bad enough, but watching someone argue with a stop sign is beyond the pale.

As a specific kind of Youtube veteran, that might not matter.
Any time a video game has a hotel level, all I can think about is THE ENCLOSED INSTRUCTION BOOK.
