Boomers get a bad rap. Less than 45% of the under 35 vote, ie all boomers, were for Reagan, it was the older generations that overwhelmingly supported conservaives and axed the programs that boomers were the last to benefit from.

I think a lot of boomers don't realize they were the last generation to be better off than their parents. Older generations have "had it harder" for so long it's been taken for granted. I think now that boomers are old they want to believe the young generation has it easier, like their parents told them, but it's just not true anymore.

45 and above were Trump voters.
