Either go around killing bosses / minibosses in the depths for crystal charges, or dupe large zonaite and trade them at every mine for large crystal charges. The go to the energy cell refinery either in the intro island or outside Lookout Landing for the cells

Also do the Yiga quest line as you get 100 crystal charges every step (plus many are near mines, which give a further 20). Yiga encampments also give 20 crystal charges per clear and are super fast/easy once you find them.

This is a decent guide for the beginning, though ignore his Green Goblin flying device and use a proper hover bike. Don't forget to throw a big light seed on the front.

Rito is the only power I use nonstop. The rest of them I havent touched since the temples

I have Amy gotten all of them yet. But Im constantly using both Rito and Goron Rito because its awesome. But the Gordon saves my bombs and stuff

Finally beat the game. gotta say that I love that trope of the final boss' health meter being too big for the screen lol

I always love how in one of the Kirby games, you start eating everything, including the health bar

i'm almost done upgrading the barbarian set, not to max, but as much as i care to do, 12 legs, 12 chest, 20 head, fuck the rest, i'm not grinding 6 more white lynels

I just need Beetles for my Barbarian stuff

Im over 95 hours in. Just beat the fire temple to make 3 temples completed.

The Gerudo area is my least favorite of them all, but Im probably gonna push through it this weekend. Gonna do some other quests.

I feel like Im lacking in good armor, so Ill probably spend most of this week hunting for some stronger armor sets.

Just beat the game. Probably the best Ganondorf fight in terms of difficulty. OoT, WW, and TP fights were all too easy from what I remember, but this one was actually smacking me around for quite a while. Then again he wasn't doing that much damage to me with the amount of armor I had, so it might have been an illusion of difficulty rather than actually being tough.

Edit: Well, 2nd phase that is. 1st and final phases were both easy since 1st is basically just a Phantom Ganon that switches weapons and final phase he wasn't really much of a threat at all.

Immediately found three different types of Beetles on one tree. This place is awesome. Its funny because the two new beetles out of the three were ones I needed. The third I already had, and Beedle really wants it

I just built a hoverbike and...my eyes have been opened. Jesus this thing feels broken and super cheap on Zonaite, lol. I think I'll only use it occasionally since I want to slowly explore everything.

Motherfucker, I'm missing 1 shrine and I cant find it on the map for the life of me >_>

Finally found the last shrine. It was right next to another shrine and blended in in the low-res map image.

Man this post reminded me of playing New Leaf back in the day.

My only complaint about the reward is that you cant wear other gear with it.

Haven't tried it, but apparently it works like the Fierce Deity Mask and powers you up during bosses?

an NPC told me that fusing enemies' nails and teeth, e.g. Hinox toenail, to an arrow is better than fusing them to a weapon. is that true? is the "fuse attack power" that's shown for every collectible not always the same depending on what you fuse it to??

Might as well. I think you get an extended ending if you have all 23 Main Quests done by the end. (Two of them are cleared by beating the game.)

rather than cooking foods to help me resist cold or heat all the time, i figured i'd just get some damn armor instead. or some accessories as well... lol

Cold res armor is in rito village

Flame res in Goron city

Heat res in gerudo town secret shop (headpiece is in Kara kara bazzar though)

You can also fuse rubies/sapphires onto a weapon or shield to get 1 level of cold/heat res as long as you have it equipped

Rito village sells cold-resistant gear. You'll need at least 2 levels of resistance for certain cold areas. You could also attach a ruby to your weapon or shield for cold-resistance and only need one piece of gear as a result.

Heat and Flame resistance are two different categories. The former is sold in the desert oasis by a gerudo woman, the latter is in goron city and yunobo co. and is required for extremely hot areas like near lava. A sapphire will add heat resistance if fused to your weapon or shield, but will do nothing for flame resistance. Again some areas will require two levels.

You can buy cold resistant clothing in the Rito village and heat resistant clothing in the Gerudo village.

Hinox toenails make for sturdier axes than stones do. Fuse attack power is the same for any weapon or arrow, but some enemies are more vulnerable to certain weapons (taluses are vulnerable to stone/smashing type weapon fusions. Trees are weak to chopping-type fusions, etc.)

Attaching them to arrows is a solid use for more expendable monster drops, especially keese eyes and wings. But I wouldn't use, say, a lynel horn on a single arrow.

The beginning area has a few pieces of cold resist armor from chests, otherwise Rito has some for sale. Pretty much all the main areas will have armor for sale or to quest for to help with the area.

Gibdo bones are the best arrow attachments. Crazy high damage modifier and you aren't wasting them since their terrible durability makes them bad for weapon fuses.

They do make decent arrow options, but I usually just use horns from bokoblins or constructs since those are way more abundant.

But you can attach almost anything to a weapon. If you manage to obtain a gloom weapon, you can avoid its downside by fusing it to a normal weapon (but don't do it the other way around! It'll still have its downside if you use it as the base and fuse something to it)

I do this all the time They have good strength, so that can make other weapons really good. And I dont have to worry about the bad parts

think I said this in the last topic too but its way cheaper to use keese wings instead of sapphire/ruby to add heat/cold resistance

It's glorious. Takes 57 zonaite and is worth every one

Only major things I've done so far are fix most of the Skyview towers, get all the stone eyes from the Great Plateau back to that statue in the depths, and unlock Auto-Build. Other than that, I've just been exploring, picking up everything I can, and trying not to die too much.

In BotW, I fully payed off my house, decorated it with all the sacred weapons you got for beating the Divine Beast dungeons, and had the group photo with Zelda and the champions in there too.

I just made it to that house in this game, and when I opened the door, all my hopes that this sequel would have some goodies included by having a save file of the first game were dashed to pieces.

The group photo is supposed to be there, though not sure if it's in Zelda's house or if it gets put in Link's new house. I did Champions' Ballad on the Wii U. And any horses you had are supposed to carry over. But apparently it only works off the main save file and not any Master Mode saves.

Well fuck. I only did the second DLC in master mode. :P

I missed out on the imported horses because I upgraded my Switch to the OLED and didn't download my BOTW cloud save before I found my first stable :(
